Polychrome-painted Splint Basket, probably New England, late 19th century, deep rectangular basket with two carved handles, the splints painted red, blue, and yellow, ht. 7 3/4, wd. 10 1/4, lg. 13 1/4 in. Minor fading of color and some light moisture stains.
