Continental Ivory Miniature Slant-lid Desk, of typical form, the lid lifting to reveal writing surface and three short drawers over one long drawer, over case fitted with three long drawers, on bracket feet, and all-over decorated with ivory panels either polychrome painted with floral motifs, or openwork panels with animals, ht. 11 1/2, wd. 14 5/8, dp. 6 1/2 in. All-over scattered losses, breaks, and cracks to ivory. Some areas painted to imitate the lost ivory decoration. Lacking original pulls.
