Chinese Celadon Porcelain Lamp Base, China, 19th century, gilded and polychrome enamel decorated with bands of flowers and Chinese characters, raised lizards to shoulder, phoenix handles, ht. to rim 19 1/4 in. The mounting prohibits viewing the drilled hole in the base of vase. Possible repair to one phoenix handle. Scattered loss to gilt and enamel, particularly the raised lizards to shoulder. No other visible damages or repairs.
