Mexican Modernist Sterling Kettle on Stand, Bernice Goodspeed, maker, mid 20th century, teardrop-shaped body with upright angular silver and rosewood handle, center spout, set on a round stand with curved uprights, with top and sides pierced with ellipses, with ovoid burner, full ht. 14 1/4 in., approx. 70 troy oz. kettle handle with very light, unobtrusive ding to front surface of top right of handle. The top section of stand, and top edge of body of stand, slightly off round, so top does not currently sit flush on base. all pieces marked.
