Carved Oak Figure of Dionysius and an Infant Bacchante, England, 19th century, the standing male figure modeled nude and holding a bunch of grapes in one hand while supporting the figure of a child on the other arm, ht. 31 1/2 in. Breaks to infant's fingers. Replacement to Dionysius' index finger, water marks to back side, no nicks or scratches.
