Gilt-metal and Iridescent Glass Figural Centerpiece, Germany, late 19th century, mark of Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF), the gold glass bowl with pinched rim and applied texture, supported by a sconce held by a scantily clad babe standing on a circular stepped base with four flared feet, each with a fillet ball finial, ht. 13 3/4 in. Likely a married piece, the gilt-metal sconce with two drilled holes, modern cap to bowl interior, surface loss to gilding, no chips to glass.
