Two French Fans, 19th century, one with mother-of-pearl sticks with mixed-metal floral inlay, and lace leaf with central hand-painted scene of courtiers, lg. 9 3/4; the other with bone sticks hand-painted with flowers, and kidskin leaf with central scene of an amorous couple and sewn sequins, framed, lg. 10 in. The first fan with discoloration to gilt metal and lace. The second with wear to paint and repairs to sticks where they meet leaf, not examined out of frame.
