Masonic Decorated Sunderland Pink Lustre Transfer-decorated Jug and Plaque, England, 19th century, the jug decorated on the sides with two rectangular reserves one side with the "Mason's Arms," the other side with allegorical figures and symbols; a rectangular plaque decorated with Masonic symbols and allegorical figures and a verse, the first line reading "The world is in pain/Our secrets to gain...," jug ht. 7 5/8, plaque 7 3/4 x 8 3/4 in. Both jug and plaque in very good condition.
