Jade Fang Ding with Cover, China, the rectangular ceremonial vessel raised on four legs surmounted by taotie masks, each side of the body and domed cover finely carved in relief with stylized taotie , flanked by dragon scroll handles suspending jump rings, the cover surmounted by a recumbent foo dog finial, the jade of semi-translucent pale green color with russet and white markings, carved Qianlong mark on base, carved wood stand, ht. 6 1/2, lg. 6 1/2, wd. 3 1/4 in. In good condition.
