Black, Starr & Frost Center Bowl, early 20th century, sterling silver bowl with flared and pierced rim decorated with foliate and floral garlands with engraved monogram "JC" to interior, approx. 47.1 troy oz., with silver plated interior bowl and silver-plated, gold-washed frog-lid with turned finial and etched floral motifs to pierced lid, dia. 16 1/2 in. In good overall condition with little surface abrasions or wear, one very slight and shallow dent to lip of outer bowl.
