Framed Needlework Referencing the Opera Il Tancredi , England, probably mid-19th century, ovoid depiction of a woman seated with a staff and sheep, carving "Tancredi" into the trunk of a tree, sight ht. 12 1/2 in. Some small tears to fabric and age related discoloration. Not examained outside of frame. Frame with scattered losses.
