Attributed to Eduard von Grützner (German, 1846-1925) Pair of Portraits of Monks with Food and Drink Unsigned, identified on typewritten labels affixed to the stretchers. Oil on canvas, 7 3/8 x 5 3/8 in. (18.7 x 13.4 cm), framed. Condition: Retouch, paint loss, stretcher marks, surface imperfections and grime. N.B. The lot is accompanied by a 1975 household appraisal prepared by Roy K. Eyges, Inc., that includes the paintings.
