Carved Walnut Ottoman, upholstered, pierced shell-form carving to each seat rail, on four cabriole legs with grotesque-mask carvings to each knee, joined by X-form stretcher with floral carving to center, all on four scrolled and hoofed feet, ht. 18 1/2, wd. 23 1/2, dp. 18 in. Crack to one foot extending about 2 in. up the leg. Several minor nicks to outer carving particularly on corners.
