Large Ecclesiastical Polychrome Painted Panel, Continental, depicting the Virgin holding the Christ child, with two Seraphim in the upper right, the panel with carved accents, titled "AVE-MARIA" beneath the scene and in an architectural green-painted and parcel-gilt self-frame, image ht. 17 1/2, wd. 13 1/2, total ht. 47 1/2, wd. 24 1/2 in. Scattered chips and loss to paint, gilt, and gesso. Vertical cracks to panel. Bubbling and heat damage to panel surface.
