Victorian Sterling Silver Ewer, Dublin, 1839, James Fray, maker, leaf-decorated handle with ivory heat stops, rim decorated with rocaille motifs surrounding lid with flower finial above body with acanthus decoration raised on a circular foot, ht. 11 1/8 in. approx. 34.7 troy oz. Scattered pinprick dents to body and foot. Half inch indentation beneath spout. Foot bent in slightly and with scattered indentations around stem. Lid slightly raised from body.
