Miniature Stencil-decorated and Grain-painted Empire Bureau, America, early 19th century, shaped scrolled crest with mirrored heart and circular cutouts, the top with a stenciled floral design and the name "S. C. TEALL" on red-painted ground over two short drawers with bird's-eye maple fronts over two grain-painted long drawers with wire ring pulls, (minor imperfections), ht. 9 1/2, wd. 9, dp. 5 5/8 in. Some of the applied scroll devices have been reglued.
