Pal Fried (Hungarian/American, 1893-1976) Sleeping Beauty Signed "FRIED PAL" l. l., titled on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 24 x 30 in. (60.9 x 76.2 cm), unframed. Condition: Stretcher bar marks, minor surface grime. Stretcher bar lines observable on top and bottom bars; minor canvas deformation to background above figure's upper right arm; the stretcher bars do not have stretcher keys in them and would probably benefit from having them added; minor abrasions along the tacking margins from previous frame liner; no additional condition issues to report.
