Norbertine Bresslern-Roth (Austrian, 1891-1978) Tiger's Roar. Signed "Bresslern-Roth" in pencil l.r., inscribed "handdruck" in pencil l.l. Color linocut on laid tissue, image size 7 5/8 x 6 1/2 in. (19.3 x 16.6 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins approximately 1/2 inch. N.B. Sold for the benefit of the collections of the Smith College Museum of Art. The sheet measures 8 7/8 x 7 3/4 inches, with gentle rippling, and is hinged to a supporting sheet with brown paper tape.
