French Gilt-brass Mantel Clock, c. 1890, the case with pitched pediment and balustrade top, caryatids flanking the Arabic numeral enameled dial with recessed gilt center and Brocot exposed escapement, brass lattice against a painted red ground and eight-day time and strike movement with pendulum, ht. 18 1/2 in. Gilding on case in age consistent mellow condition, movement complete and running although should be cleaned.
