Framed Silhouettes of a Lady and Gentleman, possibly August Edouart (French, 1789-1861), cut black paper on paper, sight size 9 1/2 x 13 3/8 in. , in a later molded gilt-gesso frame. Condition: Tear to gentleman's waistcoat, and creases to both figures. Note: The card backing bears an oval stamp "FROM THE COLLECTION OF ORIGINAL PORTRAITS OWNED BY MRS. F. NEVILL JACKSON..."
