French, Second half of 20th century. Modern large scale brass metal sail boat table top sculpture, signed and dated by Curtis Jere, 1976. Intricately designed and constructed, this piece can sit as a free standing sculpture or be wall mounted. Height 46.5", length 41.25". Note: Curtis Jere is the brand name for the company Artisan House. The founders of Artisan House, Jerry Fels and his brother-in-law Curtis Freiler, started Artisan House in 1964. The name “Curtis Jere" was created by simply combing their two first names Curtis and Jer.
