Four Framed Portrait Miniatures, a pair of oval portraits on ivory depicting dark-haired women in classical robes and Empire ringlets, in enameled frames set with paste, ivory sight ht. 2 1/4; an oval format on ivory of a woman in elaborate blue dress and ermine cloak, signed "Tanterre," in a heart-shaped gilt-bronze and velvet frame set with paste, ivory sight ht. 3 5/8; and one oval format printed on paper, depicting a dark-haired woman in a large hat, in heart-shaped velvet and bronze frame, frame ht. 7 1/4 in. The pair of portraits are both indistinctly signed. From the pair, the woman in red has an approx. 1 in. scratch to the left of her head. The frames have scattered tarnish and loss to enamel. Not examined out of frames.
