Painted Panel with St. Paul, Continental, walking figure of St. Paul with book and staff in arched frame with fluted columns on either side, winged putti heads in the upper corners and outer edge with additional carved flowerheads and painted detail, total ht. 23 3/4, wd. 13 in. Craquelure and lifting to paint surface, some small areas of loss and flaking. Several deep cracks to panel showing through painted surface. Scattered loss to paint and chips to frame. Piece was probably originally part of a tripych. Outer frame was originally gilded, only red bole is showing currently.
