Harris & Co., Boston, late 19th century, flattened full-body molded sheet copper body, mane, and tail, mounted on a copper rod, fine untouched original verdigris surface with traces of yellow sizing and gilt, with stand, (minor imperfections), overall ht. 17 3/8, lg. 22 3/4 in. Provenance: Bill Hubbard, Pioneer Auctions, Amherst, Massachusetts. Minor bullet dent, loss to vertical and horizontal rod with make-do iron wire repair near vertical shaft.tail, rear haunches dented slightly inward.
