Federal Mahogany Inlaid and Flame Mahogany Veneer Sideboard, probably New York, c. 1805, the reverse serpentine top with canted corners, on conformingly shaped string-inlaid case of central drawer above two hinged doors flanked by larger doors, on six square tapering legs with double-banded cuffs, old brasses, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 39 1/2, case wd. 63, dp. 25 in. top with a number of shrinkage cracks and patches, shrinkage cracks to front of veneer in case.
