John Rood (American, 1902-1974) Kneeling Woman Signed and dated "19 RooD 47" on the reverse l. c. Walnut with partial polychrome, height 24 in. (61.0 cm). Condition: Hairline cracks, scattered abrasions, wear to patina, losses to polychrome surfaces. Provenance: Descended within the family of the present owner. Literature: Bruno F.
