Fabio Fabbi (Italian, 1861-1946) At the Textile Market Signed "F. Fabbi" l.r. Oil on canvas, 27 7/8 x 19 5/8 in. (70.8 x 49.7 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, minor retouch. Retouch is minor and appears as follows: 3-1/2 inch horizontal line to center, located over the merchant's proper left hand; 1-3/4 inch vertical line located at the top of the composition, just left of center, in the carved arch; 1-1/2 inch Y-shaped vertical line to the u.l. corner, located 2-1/2 inches down from the top and 3 inches in from the left edge. No additional condition issues to report.
