Andrew Newell Wyeth (American, 1917-2009) House in Winter Signed "Andrew Wyeth" in pencil l. r. Watercolor and graphite on paper, sheet size 13 x 16 1/2 in. (33.0 x 41.9 cm), bound on the title page of Richard Meryman's Andrew Wyeth , published in 1969 by Gambit Incorporated, Boston. Condition: Good. Provenance: A Massachusetts institution. N.B. The present work is painted in a special edition oblong folio of 300, signed by the artist and numbered 133 on the colophon, housed in a clamshell box. The watercolor (and the interior of the book in general) is in good condition without soiling or staining. The binding has minor wear and staining; the clamshell box has more of both.
