Victor Vasarely (Hungarian/French, 1906-1997) Two Images from the PERMUTATIONS Series , 1968, edition of 150, published by Denise René, editeur, Paris. Both signed "Vasarely-" in pencil l.r., numbered "13/150" in pencil l.l., with publisher's dry stamp l.l., and identified on a label from the Kanegis Gallery, Boston, affixed to the backing. Color screenprints on paper, image size 23 5/8 x 23 5/8 in. (59.8 x 59.8 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle water staining to lower margins, abrasion/surface loss to left margin and just into image of one, not examined out of frames. The abrasion is primarily to the left margin of centralized composition. It just effects the image as 3 linear rubs. The same work has most of the water staining to its margins. Neither has been removed from its frame.
