Vadim Dmitrjewitsch Falilejeff (Russian, 1879-1950) Landscape on the Volga , 1927. Signed "W. Falilejeff" in pencil l.r., dated and monogrammed within the block, identified on a label affixed to the backing. Color woodcut on paper, image size 11 x 9 1/8 in. (27.9 x 23.1 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, unobtrusive staining, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the work is sandwiched between its front and back mats - these are glued together. The sheet is probably laid down.
