After Peter Paul Rubens (Flemish, 1577-1640) Copy of the Self Portrait by Rubens of 1623 Unsigned, identified on a label from Dartmouth College affixed to the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 30 x 25 in. (76.0 x 63.5 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, craquelure, blistering, masking varnish, surface grime. Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College. N.B. The copy is thought to date from the late 18th to early 19th century.
