Pair of Mongolian Man-and-Horse Paintings, Mou-Sien Tseng (fl. 1985-present), acrylic on gold leaf panels, each depicting a warrior mounted on a galloping horse, one depicted with a shield on his left arm and wielding a saber above his head, the other figure an archer performing the Parthian shot, turning his upper body to shoot at pursuers, each inscribed and bears signature, with two seals of the artist, 15 1/2 x 15 1/2, frame 22 x 22 in. Note: The paintings were exhibited in the first New York exhibition of the artist's works. The frames were both selected by the artist.
