Chippendale Carved Walnut Slant-lid Desk, Pennsylvania, last half 18th century, the lid opens to an interior of four fan-carved valance drawers above eight divided compartments and eight drawers, all flanking the central prospect door opening to similarly arranged drawers and compartments, with case of four thumb-molded graduated drawers flanked by quarter-columns, all on ogee bracket feet, old surface, (imperfections), ht. 45, wd. 40, dp. 21 1/2 in.
