The ballet Concerto in G debuted May 15, 1975, at the New York City Ballet Ravel Festival at the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center. With choreography by Jerome Robbins to music by Maurice Ravel, the ballet featured dancers Peter Martins and Suzanne Farrell. The ballet was subsequently retitled In G Major .
