Attributed to Eddie Owens Martin, called St. EOM (American, 1908-1986) Art Deco-style Head of a Woman Signed and dated "EOM/1954" incised in the wood at the back of the neck. Carved wood, height 17 1/2 in. (44.5 cm), on an integral wood base. Condition: Drying cracks and wear to edges of the base, small losses and abrasions to the ridges of the hair, surface dust and grime.
