Regency-style Satinwood-veneer, Part-ebonized, and Polychrome-painted Bonheur du Jour, England, third-quarter 19th century, with baluster gallery over case fitted with four drawers and two doors decorated with green botanicals, all interrupted by engaged and reeded columns, above a projecting frieze drawer fitted with adjustable velvet-inset surface and various compartments, on circular tapered legs, the whole with crossbanding and string inlay, ht. 42 3/4, wd. 26 7/8, dp. 14 1/2 in.
