Attributed to Lieven Mehus (Flemish, 1630-1691) Landscape with a Castle Unsigned, with a collector's mark "PM" within a circle l. r., inscribed "Livio Mehus" in pencil on the reverse. Ink and wash on laid paper, 5 7/8 x 8 11/16 in. (15.0 x 22.0 cm), framed. Condition: Creasing, toning, soiling, stain to u.l. margin. Provenance: Ex-collection of Mathias Polakovits (Hungarian/French, 1921-1987); Sotheby's London, Old Master Drawings, April, 22, 1998, Sale LN8226, Lot 329.
