Lawrence (American, fl. Late 1840s-Early 1850s) Sixth-plate Daguerreotype of a Seated Boy, stamped "LAWRENCE" on brass mat l.l., in an embossed leather case. Condition: Minor tarnish, two U-shaped scratches in u.l. quadrant, brown spot at center, case worn and abraded, opening up at u.l. corner, cover missing, velvet liner slightly faded, not examined out of case. Provenance: A private New England collection.
