Kathryn Nason (American, 1892-1976) Half-length Portrait of a Seated Woman Holding a Rose Signed and dated "K Nason/1919" and inscribed "Kathryn" on the reverse, with a detached label from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts inscribed "KATHRYN NASON/CONCOURS/NO. 1 MARCH 1918-1919" affixed to the frame backing. Oil on canvas, 25 x 20 in. (63.5 x 51.0 cm), framed. Condition: Minor retouch, mild surface grime.
