Wolfgang Aurifaber (German, 15th/16th Century) Two Prints: The Madonna and Child with the Abbot Ludwig von Churwalden ; probably an 18th century impression, and a counter proof of the same image. Identified within the plate and on labels affixed to the backing. Engraving on paper, sheet/image sizes 12 x 8 1/4 in. (30.4 x 20.8 cm), framed. Condition: Both trimmed inside of the plate mark, counter proof with losses, repairs, and staining to left corners, not examined out of frames.
