Patriotic Three-color Tied-Beiderwand Coverlet, America, 19th century, two-piece woven red, blue, and green wool and natural cotton, with floral and geometric tile patterns on the central field, two sides with grapevine borders, one end border with alternating cupola-topped buildings and planters with flowers, two corner blocks with a leafy wreath above a spreadwing standing eagle over "LIBERTY" inscription, (minor toning and light stains, fringe losses, minor wool losses), approx. 88 x 80 in.
