Peking Chinese Carpet, late 19th century, the cream field with a central pagoda flanked by confronted scepters, tall and short vases with flowering branches, fans, butterflies, and tiered boxes, the corners delineated by clouds and containing covered urns and books, the inner border with an allover "wan"-in-"diaper" design, the lattice background main border with lozenges inset with fish, vases, and other various emblems, all in shades of blue, beige, and brown, 9 ft. 1 in. x 7 ft. 10 in.
