Russian Icon with Riza Depicting Three Patron Saints, the icon late 19th/early 20th century, the riza gold-washed . 875 silver, Moscow, 1908-18, Khlebnikov, maker, painted in the Western style with visible faces and hands, the kovcheg riza with polychrome cloisonne flower buds and scrolling foliage to corners, finely chased foliate border, and raised figures with further chasing and polychrome champleve and cloisonne enameled accents, set within a shadow box with molded brass frame and case, with hinged glazed door, icon sight ht. 11 7/8, sight wd. 10 1/8 in.
