Attributed to Victor De Grailly (French, 1804-1889) Hudson River Valley Farm (Haying at Garrison) Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 22 7/8 x 36 1/2 in. (58.2 x 92.9 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, scattered retouch, craquelure, surface grime. Provenance: Ralph Brill Collection, Cold Spring, New York. N.B. The farm depicted is thought to be that of Thomas Rossiter, a site that was visited by the artist's Hudson River School friends.
