Schoolgirl Needlework Picture, Ann Wilson, probably Massachusetts, early 19th century, worked in silk threads on a silk ground, showing a basket of berries surrounded by fruits and a butterfly, in a gilt eglomise mat lettered "ANN WILSON," with oval aperture, in a molded giltwood and gesso ropetwist frame, (imperfections), 19 1/4 x 17 in. overall. Note: A handwritten jelly label on the back reads "Property of Frances Lee lent to Aunt Anne July 1922."
