Lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, sheet size 22 x 28 in., matted and framed. Condition: Repaired tear l.l. into matrix, stains to right edge, U-shaped tear in sky c.l. Note: On July 4, 1840, the Cunard Royal Mail Steamship Britannia was the first mail steamer with service running between England and North America.
