After Sir Anthony van Dyck (Flemish, 1599-1641), Young Woman Playing a Viola da Gamba Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 45 x 37 in. (114.0 x 94.0 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, fine craquelure. N.B. The original portrait by Sir Anthony van Dyck, painted c. 1635-1640, is in the collection of the Alte Pinakothek, Munich, Germany. The sitter is Mary Ruthven, wife of the artist. The copy at hand is thought to be 19th century.
