Shellwork Sailor's Valentine, probably Barbados, 19th century, hinged octagonal case, decorated with multicolored shell designs, one side with an ornate heart motif, the other side with inscription "THINK OF ME," (a few loose segments, shrinkage cracks on case exterior, glasses cracked), 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.
