Chinese, 19th century. Porcelain diamond form dish with undulating rounded edges, hand painted with figural scene of two figures in boat with a blue and green mythical guardian lion surrounded by butterflies. Scene frame within pink and blue flower and prunus fruit. Dish raised on almond form base with waves motif. Underside of dish with bats and prunus. Brown seal on bottom, otherwise unmarked. Height 2.6", width 11.125", depth 9.1".
