Benton Murdoch Spruance (American, 1904-1967) The Adirondacks . Initialed " BS " within the matrix l.r.; inscribed and dated "Spruance '42/WGS" in pencil and stamped "BS" within an oval in red l.r., titled in pencil l.c., annotated "Ed. 30" l.l., all beneath the image. Lithograph on paper, image size approximately 10 x 14 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. N.B. The initials "WGS" refer to Winifred Glover Spruance, wife of the artist. The family of the artist created the "chop" estate stamp, because many prints were unsigned at the time of the artist's death. We would like to thank Winston C.
